About Dr. Patel

Dr. Sapna Patel did her medical education at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pa. She then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Nephrology Fellowship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. She is actively involved in teaching Residents and Students as a Clinical Instructor for UCLA School of Medicine, UCI School of Medicine and Cal State Long Beach. She is actively involved with leadership at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center as the Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine as well as the Medical Director for Inpatient Dialysis at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. She serves at the medical director of several outpatient dialysis clinics and is actively involved in the betterment of clinical care for patients with Kidney Disease. She also participates in medical research as a clinical sub investigator. She has done media interviews for KCAL 2/9, Long Beach Business Journal & a national campaign for “No on Prop 8” . She has a special interest in CKD care and Glomerulonephritis.
